CEI : Spaces that spark creativity
Government schools of Kerala now houses "The State of the Art" Tinkering labs under the banner of Centre for Early Innovation (CEI). They are dynamic learning hubs to democratize STEM education, making science and technology accessible to every school students. CEI dismantles the barrier to costly private resources and there by reinforcing the equity in education. The CEI project aligns with Kerala's vision to build future ready talent pool, empowering teachers to create contextual teaching aid, and strengthening pedagogical practices.
Through hands-on, bottom-up experiences CEI fosters transformative learning environment that bridges digital divide. CEI takes away student's inhibitions to 'Touch-Feel-Play' with digital fabrication tools, there by nurturing curiosity.

Philosophy & Vision
The Centre for Early Innovation (CEI) project promotes equity in education by setting a new benchmark and model to nurture a culture of tinkering among school students. It aims to make science and technology accessible to all, especially in public schools.
This initiative is expected to:
- Democratizing STEM Learning for every school student, priorotizing the underprivileged
- Empowering teachers to become pioneers of contextula NEP aligned STEM learning module creation
- Building Kerala's future ready talent pool from the classrooms
